There's a new carnival, a kind of meta-blogging, on genealogical research. It's the Carnival of Genealogical Societies and the first edition is called Doin' things right, focusing on the way genealogical societies enable research by providing services for genealogists.
Not only will this be useful for genealogists, but any academic historian who wants to get a handle on the kind of historical research most people consider interesting should take a look.
